So, when Raffles announced Boston as its flagship location for making its brand debut in the Americas, we knew it would be up to the PR team to keep local feathers from ruffling. Through a highly strategic, thoughtful and bullish media plan that incorporated both high-touch local first exclusives and heavy-hitting national narratives with messaging focused on the neighborhood of Back Bay and what it will impart on the hotel (rather than vice versa), the team was able to achieve stellar results leading to higher-than-average opening occupancy levels, while developing a local fan base that continues to keep the dining outlets bustling to this day.
