CULTURE

We believe that integrity is in short supply.

We believe that expectations should always be exceeded and that your success is a terrific investment. We believe immersion brings insight, that relationships matter, and that hammock naps are tough to beat. We believe in integrity, in adding another leaf to the table, and that partners achieve more than vendors… We believe people will listen—if you say something worth hearing.

Leadership Team

  • Laura Davidson

    CEO/ Founder

With two-lifetime achievement awards, Laura has dominated our industry for 25 years, pushing boundaries for an ever-growing roster of clients, embracing the new, and building LDPR into the powerhouse it is today.

Laura has played an active role in the travel community through her affiliation with the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association (HSMAI), the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA), the Wellness Tourism Association (WTA), the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and the International Luxury Hotel Association (ILHA). In 2008, she was honored with HSMAI’s highest recognition – the Lifetime Achievement Award and received similar recognition from CTO in 2019. She is the founding board member of the Family Travel Association and an Ambassador for Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy. Leading by example, Laura focuses on fairness for all and generosity by all who can—in her own life and via LDPR. As if that’s not enough, she somehow manages to travel the world with her husband and two sons.

  • Leslie Cohen

    President/ Owner

Leslie has worked alongside Laura Davidson since 2000, and their friendship goes even further back to spa vacations, industry conferences, and NYC neighbors. They share a belief that having the right staff is the foundation for everything good that follows. Leslie and Laura continually re-invest in staff training and development and secure the very best clients from all over the world. Before joining LDPR, Leslie worked at large and boutique agencies immersed in all travel and hospitality industry segments, including city hotels, conference resorts, tourism boards, cruise lines, and tour operators. She is a member of SATW (Society of American Travel Writers), PRSA (Public Relations Society of America's Travel and Tourism Section, HSMAI (Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International), and PR Council. An avid traveler whose bag is always at the ready for the next flight or voyage, Leslie is a travel enthusiast by vocation and passion.

  • dana curatolo

    Senior Vice President

Europe, local cuisine, cultural connection—Dana magically weaves all of these into everything she does in her own life and for several of our international and domestic luxury partners. As our gallivanting gastronome and European destination expert, she oversees media strategies for some of the top luxury hotels and resorts across Europe, the Caribbean and the U.S. Well-connected, strategic, personable, and tenacious, Dana brings creativity, skill, and savviness to each PR campaign and program she leads.

  • CLAIRE SKINNER

    Vice President

Born from globe-trotting, high-end residential architect parents, Claire was raised with a passion for travel and fine design. A natural storyteller with magnetic energy, Claire's secret weapon lies in her ability to uncover hidden stories for her clients like golden nuggets. She has a certain je ne sais quoi (did we mention she speaks French?) that led her to successfully oversee destination tourism campaigns to boutique hotel property openings, brand partnerships, and even star-studded events.

WE STRATEGICALLY PARTNER WITH COMPANIES, PEOPLE, AND CLIENTS THAT SHARE OUR VALUES.

Women-owned, LDPR is an inclusive, empowering environment where every voice is heard. A savvy group of socially conscious forward-thinkers and doers, we are proud to close the gender pay gap, embrace our differences, and provide opportunity without bias. A member of TravelUnity, Minorities in Media, and the PR Council, we partner with companies, people, and clients that share these beliefs.

Philanthropy is core to who we are

Our staff receives additional paid time off to volunteer and support local charities. Fortunate beyond measure, we’re proud to be an ambassador for A&K Philanthropy, a supporter of World Central Kitchen, a teachers-sponsor at Benin, West Africa’s Sain Farm School, and a donor to various Caribbean community foundations. Of particular interest are group activities in our NYC home base such as mentoring girls and women, donating to clothing drives, hosting an after-school carnival for kids, and volunteering at a pet shelter. We also set aside funds to respond to world events/crises as we consider our role, small but mighty, in striving for the greater good.
