Portland, Ore. left its mark on New York City last month by throwing one of the coolest house parties in press event history. In partnership with a sampling of Portland’s finest chefs, makers, mixologists, brewers and vitners, the party was complete with everything from beer in a bathtub, to a tea tasting room and even foie gras ice cream!
The family of luxury leather good makers at Orox Leather Co. stood by to create custom leather items for event attendees.
Southeast Wine Collective founder Kate Norris served up the finest swills from Portland’s urban wineries.
No Portland party is complete without Salt & Straw – they scooped up out-of-the-box ice cream flavors, including carrot cake, salted butter & sweet corn caramel, and a shockingly delicious foie gras oatmeal raison ice cream pie!
Meanwhile in the bathroom, Founder of Portland’s Brewvana brewing company, Ashley Rose Salvitti lounged out by her tub of chilled craft beer while inviting guests to fill custom Portland cups with their choice of Portland brews.
Tea lovers unite! Smith Teamaker’s Tony Tellin was on hand to keep the energy flowing with samplings of their latest concoctions.
Until next time NYC!
