Captions merge with creativity when using the iPhone app called “Over.” It’s not free but for only $1.99 it will help turn witty thoughts into captions (we like to think in headlines!), adding words over your photos.
Quickly combine multiple photos into one beautifully framed picture. Pic Stitch packs a simple design with a powerful editor to give you everything you could possibly want to make your photo’s simply amazing. Share your masterpiece on your favorite social media networks including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Or order prints from your local Walgreens for in-store pickup. Use Pic Stitch to create a before-and-after sequence, combine great photos of each of your kids, or produce a photographic series. It’s free too!
No more frantic searching for confirmation emails in your inbox – or worse yet – hunting down that pesky manila folder. TripIt is an easier way to organize and share travel. TripIt “automagically” takes all your trip details and creates one truly helpful itinerary that’s there when and where you need it – on your iPhone or iPad, sync’d with your calendar, and online at tripit.com. When you receive a confirmation email from anywhere you book, simply forward it to email@example.com. TripIt instantly recognizes reservations from 3,000+ booking sites including cruises, restaurants, concerts and more. You can easily share trip plans with family or colleagues directly, or let Facebook and LinkedIn contacts know when and where you’re headed. A free version is available.
A free app that caught our attention is “Word Lens,” which translates printed words from English to French, Spanish or Italian (and vice versa) via iPad’s camera.
One more free app to consider before embarking on those family road trips this fall….
Discover secret spots and hidden gems along the world’s most scenic highways. Routes include inside information and history from locals and experts in each community including historical landmarks, haunted areas, themed routes, diners, drive-ins, museums and more.
